Reverend Poncella Summers was born September 17, 1950 to the late George Ruth and the late Caretha Lang.

She attended Manatee County Schools and graduated from   Lincoln Memorial High School in the Class of 1969.  Poncella was called into the ministry and was ordained to preach on   February 13, 1993.  She loved preaching God's word.
