Alphonso Leon White, Sr. was born in Bradenton, Florida on September 24, 1952 to the late Herman White, Sr. and Luvenia  White.

He was an employee for the City of Bradenton for over 20+ years.

Alphonso was preceded in death by his sister, Rosina Butler.

He leaves to cherish his memories his children: Alphonso White, Jr of Bradenton, FL, James Adams (Courtney) of Denver CO, Al'Tierria White of Bradenton, FL, and children of Orlando, FL, and New York; brothers: Jerry White (Crystal), Herman White, Jr. (Synora), Henry James  White (Hazel), and James White, Sr.; sisters: Betty Hughes (Lawrence), and Mosetta White;  a number of grandchildren; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.  Special friends: Felicia L. Hammonds, and Felicia Johnson for over 40 years;  close friends: Tajuana Opene, Jake Moss, Ferron Gibbs, Maurice Butler, Willie Ward of Fort Myers, and Maurice Butler.
