Walter
Guyton
Jun 2, 1954 — Jul 6, 2022
Walter Guyton was born June 2, 1954, in Lyons, GA to Ms. Betty Bullarda and the late Walter Guyton.
As called by family and friends, Walt worked as an equipment operator for the City of Palmetto for 30 years. Upon retirement, he fulfilled his life with the love of fishing, gaming, and collecting discarded treasures. Walt's love for family was shown through simple things in life. He thrilled himself by hanging out in his yard playing music, and playing practical jokes on everyone he could. His biggest adventure came when he adopted his grandson, Brandon.
Walt is somewhere in heaven on a fish creek bragging about his catch, waiting to meet us again.
Walt is preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Sistrunk and brother, Walter Hamlin. He leaves to cherish his memories:
His mother, Betty Bullard; the love of his life, Brenda Irons; daughter, Vonda Guyton; sons, Walter Guyton, III(Wendy), and Brandon Guyton; granddaughters, Nevaeh Guyton and Kemara Jenkins; sisters, Liz Watson(Billy), Mae Helen Hatcher (Truman), Sherry Truewell, Marlene Roney (Kenneth), Angie Perkins (Byron), Mearitia Floyd (Thomas), Sherry Truewell, Marlene Roney (Michael), Mary Nahl (Patrick), Brenda Guyton, Annette Boyd and Sylathea Simmons (James); brothers: Charles Bullard, Manuel Guyton and Gary Guyton; uncle, Rufus Guyton; Special nephew, Cedrick Bullard; special friends; Loretta McNeil and Kristen Pate, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and family.
