Obituary

Vincent Lamar Sellers, Jr., was born on March 28, 1998,  in Bradenton, Florida, to Vincent Lamar Sellers, Sr., and Leawankia McDaniel.  He was raised in both Manatee and Sarasota counties, where he developed lifelong relationships and strong community ties.

From an early age, Vincent demonstrated a deep love for football. He played and excelled in the sport from the Pop Warmer level through college, earning recognition as an exceptional athlete when he was  nominated for the prestigious Jerry Rice award. His passion and talent for the game extended beyond college, as he went onto play arena    football for multiple teams.

Vincent attended schools in Manatee and Sarasota counties and was a graduate of Riverview High School in Sarasota, Florida. He later attended Tennessee State University, where he pursued studies in child care development. At a young age, Vincent accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He lived as a devoted and active child of God, teaching Sunday School and consistently sharing the gospel and encouraging others through his faith.

Vincent is preceded in death by his grandmother, Karen McDaniel;  uncle, Bennie McDaniel; grand parents: Jessie Lee Sellers, and   Benjamin Jennings; and great grandfather, Leverge McDaniel

He leaves to cherish his loving memory his parents: Vincent Lamar Sellers, Sr. (Anita) and Leawankia McDaniel; beloved son, Santiago Sellers;  grandfather, Robert Lee Grable;  great-grandmother,  Minnie P. McDaniel; sisters:  Jasmine Sellers, Chloe Sellers, Raven-Symone Sellers, Meagan Powell, Ja'Nya McDaniel, and Amayah Sellers; uncles and aunts: Terrell Akins, Darian Grable, Broderick McDaniel,  Mitzy McDaniel, Talia Grable, Tina Grable, Theresa Grable, and Shanice Mays; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles, friends, teammates who will forever treasure his life and legacy.
