Travis Sams was born October 12, 1990 in Bradenton, Florida.  He attended public school in Manatee    County.

Travis loved sports and was a great cook.  He spent most of his time around his loving family.

Travis leaves to cherish his memories a loving, caring mother, Cassie Byrd Sams of St. Petersburg, FL.; siblings: Overton Sams of Bradenton, FL.,  Willie Sams (Taneka) , and  Cassie Sams both of St. Petersburg, FL., Chris Myrick (Samara), Ollie Myrick of Hawaii, Theo Myrick, and Sammie Myrick; aunts: Cathy Byrd, and Lisa Hird (Gregory) both of Bradenton, FL.; uncles: "Victor Parrimon" Trinity Dushon of San Francisco, CA., and Earl Byrd of Bradenton, FL.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him.
