Life's Journey for Michael Leonard Anderson
Michael Leonard Anderson was born November 21, 1998 in Tampa, FL to Nicholas Anderson and Coretha Black. He was called home on July 20, 2025. He accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He graduated from Palmetto High School in 2018 and enlisted into the Marine reserves the same year. He was studying to be an Electrician, serving as a Corporal in the Marine Corps and working with his Toyota family.
Michael was a well loved son, brother, uncle and friend, as well as a respected Corporal in the Marines. Raised by his grandmother and aunt, Freda and Alloyn Anderson, he was truly one of a kind, stubborn and loving. You always know how he felt. He would say whatever came to his mind. Motorcycle loving, cowboyed down and always ready for an adventure or an experience. He cherished the times of gaming and being with friends & teaching his nephew all about video games and anime. Humble and generous, he was willing to help anyone in need. He didn't think twice about the color of your skin or where you come from, as long as you showed a true self and loyalty, you were matched with it. He is gone too soon and we are truly grateful that he was placed in our lives for us to see the soul behind the man. He cared for everyone in his life and he would want us all to hold our heads high and remember how amazing he was. While this is a time to mourn, it is also a time to celebrate a man who gave his all and wore his heart on his sleeve. He always made us all smile and laugh whenever he was in our presence and to say he will be missed is the biggest understatement one could make.
He was preceded in death by his aunt, Alloyn Anderson, his paternal great grandparents David DJ and Arthur Mae Washington, Alfred and Luella Anderson. Maternal Grandmother Hope Johnson, and Maternal Uncle Howard Warren.
He leaves to cherish and carry out his joy many siblings and family members. Grandmother Freda Anderson, Grandfathers Carlos Anderson and Henry Black. Father and Mother Nicholas Anderson and Coretha Black, older sister Nickia Willis, brother in law Brett Willis and nephew Kai Willis. younger sisters Yaszmine and Angel Anderson, Lizzy Black, Taniyah Myrick, Carrie Strange. younger brothers: Jamari and Jadaren Anderson, Corey and Terry Myrick, cousins: Rodney Mcullough Jr, Arlandrea, Sherease and David Mccullough, Dontaisha, Simya, Donte, Damien and Ayari Anderson, Jaiyda, Andre and Jaiyden Anderson and Jae'Nikko Owens. Uncles: Donte Anderson, Kerib Web; and aunt Nicole Johnson.
His adopted family is to be recognized as well, The Evans family, Mother and father Tyiese Davis-Evans and Miles A Evans Sr.; brothers: Ty and Jordan Evans, Miles M. Evans Sr.; sister, Cass Evans and sister in law, Savana Evans; as well as many more uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews from both families.
