Debra Sue Hilliard of Palmetto passed away peacefully on September 17, 2022 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Debra was born April 29, 1956 in Warren, Michigan to Ercel Delores Austin and the late Jerry Franklin Hilliard.  She was a homemaker and loved her family with her whole heart.  She was known as "Ninny" or Mama Debbie as she was like a second mama to many of her children's friends growing up.  She loved to shop, cook, bake, and spend time with family and friends.  She will be dearly missed.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Brett Daniel Sands  (Margaret); a loving daughter. Tanya Lynn Sands (Derek Logan); grandchildren:  Tyler Daniel Sands, Alexa Nicole Logan, Mason Riley Sands, Landon Lane Sands, and Joshua Isaiah Sands.  She has one brother that she loved dearly, Larry Dean Smith.
