Ollie Wilhemenia Edwards was born June 3, 1953 to the late Douglas and Ollie Adams in Bradenton, FL.  On May 26,2017 Ollie Edwards was taken home by the angels in silence.

Ollie received her early education in the Manatee county schools and was a graduate of Southeast High School; Class of 1971.  She had a love for helping others and because of her passion she began a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant after high school.  Ollie worked in Manatee County for over 40 years nurturing others back to health.

On November 14, 1972, Ollie gave birth to a baby girl, Ollie Katina Adams.  she provided the best life possible for her daughter. 

She was known as "Ollie Wil" to some and "Nana" to others.  she had a way of treating everyone as extended family; drawing many to her heart.  she had a passion for cooking and feeding others.  She was well known for her "Cowboy corn bread".  She was a member of St. Paul MBC.

She leaves to cherish one birth child, Ollie K. Adams-Lee(Tony), and a heaven sent , adopted daughter, Anntoinette Womack (Percell).  Her legacy also includes: three grandchildren Roosevelt (Rudy) Brooks, Kala Lee, and Daniel Adams, Four Sisters Linda Daughtrey, Valerie Bowden, Loudell Coleman, and Christina Owens, five nieces and nephews.  She leaves her dedicated life long friend Gayle Jones, who never left her side as well as a few earthly Angels; Rev. Roberts, Mr and Mrs. Holloway, Mr and Mrs. Hamilton, Diane McGee, Constance young, and Sarah Barnes and a host of relatives and friends
